Finding the data for your area

The FPI data is provided at Lower Super Output Area level, according to the four definitions of fuel poverty, see Data sources and definitions.

You can download the data at four levels

  • District or unitary authority
  • County
  • Government Office region
  • All England (NB this is a large file, so please allow for longer download time)

The database includes data on the number of households in fuel poverty, the total number of households, electoral wards and local authority districts. You can therefore calculate fuel poverty scores for wards, districts and any other area required from the raw data.
